How to put junk removal booking on your own website with Dumpster Controls

The booking widget puts your junk removal booking inside your own website, as a form on a page or as a floating button. Customers pick a load, a day and pay by card without leaving your site.

Before you start

  • An admin account with access to the Online Booking section
  • The "Junk removal booking" card turned on (it reads "LIVE")
  • Access to your website editor, or the email of the person who manages your website
  1. ## Open the widget section
In the left menu, click "Online Booking" and scroll to "Put online booking on YOUR website". If your company also rents dumpsters, choose "Junk removal" under "Which booking goes on your website?". Each service has its own code.
  2. ## Choose the format
"Booking form on your page" places the full junk booking inside one page of your site, for example a "Book junk removal" page. "Floating button" adds a "Book Junk Removal" button to the corner of every page and opens the booking in a popup.
  3. ## Copy the code
Click "Copy code". The junk code carries data-service="junk", which is what makes the widget open your junk booking instead of the dumpster booking.
  4. ## Paste it into your website
In your website editor, add a "Custom HTML" or "Embed Code" block where the booking should appear, paste the code, then save and publish. "Where do I paste it?" on the same section has the exact clicks for WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy and Webflow.
  5. ## Or email it to your web designer
Click "Email this to my web designer", type their email and click "Send instructions". They receive the junk code and the steps, with your email as the reply-to address.
  6. ## Check it on your site
Open the page where you pasted the code. The junk booking shows your loads and your prices. Run through the steps up to the payment screen to see what your customer sees.

What happens next

  • With the floating button, the popup stays open on the confirmation screen so the customer can see the job number. They close it with the X.
  • If you offer both services, you can install both codes on the same site. The junk floating button comes set to the left corner so it does not cover the dumpster button.
  • When a booking is completed, the widget fires the dc:booking:complete event on your page with service "junk", the job number and the amount, so your Google Ads or Facebook Pixel can count the conversion.

Troubleshooting

The widget shows "Online Booking Unavailable".

Your junk booking is paused. Turn on the "Junk removal booking" card on the Online Booking page and reload your site.

The widget opens the dumpster booking instead of junk.

The code on your site is the dumpster code. Copy the code again with "Junk removal" selected and check that it contains data-service="junk".

I don't have a website.

Your junk link works on its own. Use "Copy my booking link" and add it to your Google Business Profile, your Instagram bio or the "Book Now" button of your Facebook Page.

Frequently asked questions

Is Dumpster Controls really free?

Yes. The software is free: dispatch, online booking, the driver app, invoicing, the Tresha AI assistant and every other feature, with no monthly fee, no trial period and no credit card to sign up. The only cost on the free plan is optional card processing when a customer pays by card through the platform: 2.99% plus $3.99 per transaction on the free plan. An optional Unlimited plan at $169 per month lowers that to 2.99% plus $0.30. Prices as published on dumpstercontrols.io/pricing on 2026-09-23.

Do you charge per driver, per truck or per order?

No. There is no per-driver, per-truck, per-user or per-order fee, and no order limit. A company with one truck and a company with twenty pay the same for the software: nothing.

Is there a contract?

No. There is no contract, no minimum term and no setup fee. You create the account yourself, and on the free plan there is nothing to cancel because nothing is billed. The optional Unlimited plan is billed month to month.

Which countries and languages are supported?

Dumpster Controls serves hauling companies in the United States and Canada. The app interface and the Tresha AI assistant are available in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The public pages, such as the blog, the help center and the landfill finder, are in English.

How do I switch from another dumpster software?

Create a free account at dumpstercontrols.io/login, with no sales call and no credit card. Then import your customers from a CSV file using the template provided in the app; past orders can also be imported from a CSV. Container sizes and pricing are set up in Settings. The landfill database, with 1,750 active US and Canadian landfills as counted on 2026-10-01, is already loaded, so disposal sites do not need to be typed in. Step-by-step guides are at dumpstercontrols.io/help.
