How to add a driver and send the invite in Dumpster Controls

Creating a driver takes one form. The platform then invites them by email and text, walks them into the driver app, and tracks their license for you.

   Open the form

   In the sidebar, click "Drivers", then "New Driver". The form has two steps: "Basic Info" and "License".

   Fill in the basics

   Enter "First Name", "Last Name", and "Email" (required). The hint explains: "An invite email will be sent so the driver can set their password and access the system." Add the "Phone" so the invite also arrives as a text message.

   Add the license

   On the "License" step, fill "License Number" and "Expiration Date". The hint notes: "Ensure the license is valid and up to date. You will receive alerts when it is about to expire."

   Create the driver

   Click "Create Driver". A toast confirms "Driver created" with "Driver created. Invite email sent to {email}." (If the email already belongs to a user on your account, you will see "Driver linked" instead.)
