How to manage a driver's profile, documents, and status in Dumpster Controls

Each driver has a full profile page with contact info, an active switch, a document locker, notes, and an activity history.

    1. 1

      Open the profile

Click a driver's row on the "Drivers" page (or use "View" in the three-dot menu). The profile shows their status pills, an "Edit" button, and four tabs: "Overview", "Notes", "Documents", and "Activities".

    2. 2

      Check the "Overview" tab

The "Driver Information" card lists "Full Name", "Email", "Phone", "License #", and "Created". The left sidebar repeats contact info plus "License Number" and "Expiration" with the license status badge.

    3. 3

Switch the driver on or off

The sidebar's "Driver Active" switch controls whether the driver is active. Inactive drivers stay in your records but show an "Inactive" pill.

    4. 4

      Manage "Driver Documents"

The "Documents" tab tracks seven slots with an "{n}/{total} uploaded" counter: "Driver Photo", "License Front", "License Back", "Work Eligibility", "Med Examination", "Drug & Alcohol", and "Tax Docs". Click an empty slot ("Click to upload") to add an image or PDF; uploaded slots turn green with view, delete, and "Replace" actions.

    5. 5

      Add internal notes

Use the "Notes" tab to keep internal notes about the driver. Notes are for your office team, not the driver.

    6. 6

      Review "Activities"

The "Activities" tab opens the driver's activity history, including their check-in hours and completed work.

    7. 7

      Delete when needed

The three-dot menu in the header has "Delete Driver". A toast confirms "Driver deleted" and you return to the Drivers list. On the list page you can also select several drivers with the checkboxes and delete them together.

    What happens next

    • Drivers can also upload some of their own documents from the driver app; everything lands in the same "Driver Documents" locker you see here.
