How to delete a truck in Dumpster Controls

Sold a truck or retired it? Remove it from the fleet from the list or from its detail page.

    1. 1

      Option 1: from the list

On the Trucks page, open the row menu (three dots) and click "Delete". A toast confirms "Truck deleted".

    2. 2

      Option 2: in bulk

Tick the checkboxes on the rows you want gone (the header checkbox selects everything that matches the current filters). A bar appears showing "{x} selected" with a "Delete Selected" button.

    3. 3

Option 3: from the detail page

Open the truck, click the three-dots menu in the header, and choose "Delete". You are returned to the Trucks list.

    What happens next

    • The truck disappears from the list and the "Total Trucks" counter drops immediately.

    Troubleshooting

    I deleted the wrong truck.

There is no confirmation dialog and no restore button, so deletion takes effect right away. Re-add the truck with "Add Truck" using its saved paperwork if you still have the files.
