Hauling software is the system a hauling company runs its day on: the orders that come in, the dispatch board that gives each stop to a driver, the driver app that closes the stop with a photo, the landfill run at the end and what each job collected and cost. What software for a hauling company has to carry on a hauling day
The office side is the same for every kind of hauling: an order comes in by phone, by the booking page or by the public API, lands on the Dispatch board unassigned, and a dispatcher drags it into a driver's lane. The driver gets a push notification and a text. From there the job follows the workflow of its type.

Dumpster hauling software: the container and the landfill run
A trash hauler in the roll-off sense, the one who searches for trash hauler software, drops a container, leaves it for a week, and comes back to take it to the landfill. The order carries both tasks from the moment it is created. The pickup is the part that goes wrong, so the customer gets a way to move it without calling you.

If you choose to collect a customer’s card payment through Dumpster Controls, the processing fee is 2.99% + $3.99 per card transaction on the free plan, or 2.99% + $0.30 (the standard Stripe rate) on the optional $169/month Unlimited plan. Take payment by cash, check, Zelle or any other way and you pay nothing at all. Beyond that, our revenue comes from the optional Unlimited plan and from equipment partners and sponsors advertising in the app and on our public directory; our marketplace, the Dumpster Net Hub, charges zero marketplace fees. Run your own business your way and you never pay to use the software. It’s the only model that lets a 1-truck owner-operator run on the same software as a 50-truck fleet.

Scrap is the third kind of hauling and the one most software ignores. In Dumpster Controls it is a module you turn on in Settings. A scrap order says No charge and sends no invoice, because the customer is not paying you; the yard is.
