Big news for Canadian haulers: Dumpster Controls is now 100% live in Canada. The platform is fully integrated with Stripe Canada, which means your customers pay in Canadian dollars and the money goes straight into your own Canadian Stripe account and on to your Canadian bank. Online booking, invoices, payment links, phone payments, saved cards, refunds: the complete financial engine of the platform now runs natively on the Canadian financial system.

And the price did not change when we crossed the border: the software is still 100% free. No monthly fee, no per-order fee, no contract, unlimited bins, trucks and drivers.

Your money never crosses the border

Most US software that "supports Canada" quietly routes your revenue through a US company account, converts currencies, or simply cannot charge Canadian cards at all. We built it differently. When your customer pays, the charge is created directly on your own Canadian Stripe account, in Canadian dollars. Dumpster Controls never holds your money: Stripe deposits it to your Canadian bank on its standard schedule, the same way it would for any Canadian business.

That single architectural decision solves the problems Canadian haulers kept hitting with US-built platforms: no currency conversion losses, no cross-border transfer delays, no surprise holds, and your accounting sees clean CAD transactions on your own Stripe statement.

Everything that now works for Canadian companies

• Online booking in CAD: your public booking page accepts Canadian postal codes (A1A 1A1) and charges the customer's card in Canadian dollars. Orders land on your dispatch board automatically.
• Invoices and payment links: Stripe-native invoices with a pay-now link that never expires. The public invoice shows amounts in C$.
• Card-by-phone: type the card at the counter for customers who call in, charged in CAD.

Transparent Canadian pricing

The software is free. When you choose to accept card payments, each transaction carries two itemized fees, deducted automatically at charge time:

• Stripe Canada processing fee: 2.9% + C$0.30 (domestic cards, per Stripe's public pricing).
• Dumpster Controls fee: 0.5% + C$2.00 per transaction.

Example: on a C$500.00 charge, roughly C$14.80 goes to Stripe and C$4.50 to Dumpster Controls, and about C$480.70 lands in your Stripe balance. Nothing is hidden in an exchange rate, because there is no exchange. You choose whether the customer pays the card fee, you absorb it, or you split it. Companies that collect by cash or cheque pay nothing at all.
