How to monitor drivers from the Dashboard in Dumpster Controls

The "Drivers" panel keeps your team's availability, connectivity, and license compliance one glance away.

    1. 1

      Read the panel

The header shows "Drivers" with the team count. Each row has the driver's avatar, name, and a status chip: "Online" in green when their app reported recently, a relative time such as "20 minutes ago" when they were seen earlier, or "Offline".

    2. 2

      Watch the "License EXP" date

Each driver shows their license expiry date. It turns red when the license expires within 30 days, so renewals never sneak up on you.

    3. 3

      Message a driver

Click the chat icon on a driver's row (tooltip: "Chat with driver") to jump straight into a conversation with them in Messages.

    4. 4

      Add a driver

Click "New Driver" to open the driver registration form without leaving the Dashboard.

    What happens next

    • With no drivers registered yet, the panel shows "No drivers yet".
    • Missing or expiring licenses also raise entries in the "Alerts" card, such as "1 driver without license" or "2 licenses expiring soon".

    Troubleshooting

A driver shows "Offline" but says they are working.

Online status comes from the driver mobile app reporting its location. Ask the driver to open the app and check that location permissions are granted.
