How to drill into a single order from Orders P&L

Clicking any row in Orders P&L opens a drawer with the money story of that order: summary cards, every payment, every cost, and one-click actions to fix or collect.

    Before you start

    • An order row in the Orders P&L table.
    1. 1

      Read the summary

Four cards show "Revenue" (with a note like "Card fees $12.34, you keep $387.66" when fees apply), "Direct Costs", "Profit", and "Margin". The header carries the confidence badge and, when relevant, an explanation box such as "Why partially verified?".

    2. 2

      Inspect Revenue and Costs

The "Revenue" section lists each payment with its method, date, amount, and net after fees. The "Costs" section lists every recorded cost; the landfill amount appears as "Landfill Ticket" and costs with an attached receipt show a "receipt" badge. A "Missing Items" section lists anything the app expected but did not find.

    3. 3

      Use the Actions

"Link Bank Tx" matches an incoming bank transaction to this order's payment. "Add Cost" records a cost. "View Invoice" opens the public invoice. "View Customer" jumps to the customer record. "Charge Extra Fee" starts the extra charge flow.

    4. 4

      Collect an unpaid invoice

If the order has an unpaid invoice, a "Collect Payment" section appears with resend buttons for "Email", "SMS", or "Both", plus "Copy Invoice Link" and "Copy Payment Link". A "Send Invoice" shortcut also sits in the header.

    5. 5

      Contact the customer

Under "Contact Customer", tap the phone number to call or "Text" to open the "Send Text Message" dialog and SMS the customer without leaving the page.

    What happens next

    • Costs added here update the row's profit, margin, and confidence immediately.

    Troubleshooting

"Copy Payment Link" says no payment link was generated yet.

The invoice exists but no Stripe payment link has been created. Use "Send Invoice" or the Send Payment Link flow first, or copy the invoice link instead.
