Scrap tasks live on the same Dispatch board as everything else. What changes is how you recognize them: a "Scrap metal" badge on the card, a diamond pin on the map, and the recycling stop labeled "Scrap yard".
Open Dispatch. Scrap tasks sit in the unassigned pool and on driver lanes like any other task, with a teal "Scrap metal" badge on the card. A pickup only job has a single pickup task; a drop off job has a delivery task first and the pickup later.
Drag the card onto a driver, use the one-click assign, or open the task details and pick the driver. Nothing about assignment is different for scrap.
On the live map a scrap stop is a diamond, while dumpster stops are circles. The pin label is "S" for the scrap pickup or drop off and "SY" for the scrap yard stop. The legend gains a "Business line" block, listing the lines on screen ("Dumpster rental", "Junk removal", "Scrap metal"), once your company has the line on and a non-dumpster stop is on the map.
In the driver app the task sheet shows the "Scrap metal" badge, plus "Pickup only" when there is no container. The company board row and the truck tablet show the same badge, and the recycling stop reads "Scrap yard" everywhere the app would otherwise say "Landfill".
After the pickup, the trip to the recycling center shows on the dispatch card as "Scrap yard" and in Operations under "Scrap yard runs". The driver starts, arrives and completes it like any other stop. At the scrap yard the driver is asked for the same receipt details as at a landfill stop; this Beta does not yet show that amount as revenue in Finances.
The block appears only when at least one non-dumpster stop is visible and your company has Scrap Metal on (or a scrap stop is on the map).
In this Beta the scrap yard stop uses the same destination list as landfill runs. Add your recycling center as a private landfill (see the Landfills guide article on adding a private landfill for your company) so drivers can pick it from the list.
