A junk crew makes its money in the fifteen minutes between pulling up and starting to load: is the pile what the customer described, is it a half load or a full one, does the customer agree to the difference. The junk removal app is the phone in the crew lead's hand during those fifteen minutes. App for junk removal: what is on the screen
The job arrives as a push notification titled "Junk Job Assigned" with the address, the moment a dispatcher drags it into the driver's lane or taps Assign. It then sits in the day's list in run order, mixed with any dumpster stops the same truck has, with a J- job number, the customer, the time window and the load fraction that was sold, shown as a chip such as "1/2 Load" where a dumpster stop would show a size. Notes from the office travel with it, so "gate on the left, dog in the yard" is on the card and not in a text thread.
On the Map tab the job draws as a "J" marker, and a "Junk" layer chip toggles junk stops on and off next to Deliveries, Pickups, Landfills, Team and HQ. Truck mode keeps the screen awake, follows the GPS and pins a Next task card with a Go button that opens turn-by-turn directions in Google Maps.
The status follows the junk workflow: scheduled, on site, loading, to landfill, completed. Each step is a tap on the phone and shows on the office board as Pending, In Progress or Completed the same second, which is what ends the "are you there yet" calls.
Photos, the bigger pile, and getting paid
Every photo taken in the app is stamped with the date, time, location and the company's name, and it attaches to the job so the office sees it immediately. That stamp is what settles a dispute two weeks later about how the garage looked before the crew touched it.
When the pile is bigger than the quote, the extra charge is added on the job and collected through the same payment flow as the base price. Junk jobs carry their own Send Payment Link and Mark as Paid actions, and every card payment shows in Finances with the gross amount, the exact fees and the net. Cash jobs cost nothing in fees.

Beyond that, our revenue comes from the optional Unlimited plan and from equipment partners and sponsors advertising in the app and on our public directory; our marketplace, the Dumpster Net Hub, charges zero marketplace fees. The Dashboard counts junk jobs on their own KPI card and draws them as blue pins on the live map. Orders P&L gives each job a row with revenue, fees, costs, profit and margin. The public REST API reads them at /v1/junk-jobs and sends signed webhooks for junk_job.created and junk_job.status_changed.
