Dumpster Controls is hauling software with no order limit, no user limit and no truck limit on its free plan, for any fleet size. Roll-off, junk removal and scrap pickups run on the same account, and the only cost is optional card processing when a customer pays by card: 2.99% + $3.99 per transaction, or 2.99% + $0.30 on the $169 per month Unlimited plan.
Most vendors in this market price by orders per month, by truck or by user, so the question is a fair one. A cap on orders is a tax on growth: the month you add a second truck is the month the bill goes up. Here is what is and is not counted.
What is and is not counted in Dumpster Controls
- Create the account, no card. Sign up with an email. The whole product is on from day one: booking page, Dispatch, the driver app, Finances, the landfill database, Tresha. There is no trial to convert.
- Take orders from anywhere, uncounted. Orders come from the booking page, the office form, a sentence to Tresha by voice, a swap on a pickup card, or a lead pushed through the API. None of them is metered, and a company with 4 orders a week is on the same plan as one with 40 a day.
- Add every driver, dispatcher and truck. Invite office users with a role, invite drivers to the free iOS and Android app, register every truck. A shared tablet in a cab is paired to the company and drivers switch on it with a 4 digit PIN.
- Send every message for free. Booking confirmations, on the way and delivered texts, invoices, up to 10 daily payment reminders, tracking links, review requests and push notifications are unlimited, with no message pack and no per-message fee.
- Know the one thing that is metered. The public REST API on the free plan opens a 10 minute daily window on the first call and allows 200 leads a day; paid plans lift both. Card processing is a fee per transaction, not a cap, and the Advanced tab lets you pass it to the customer, absorb it, or split it.
- See the fee, exactly. The Your Money page in Finances shows a worked example on your plan, customer paid minus the Stripe price minus the platform part equals your net, and the same columns for every payment.
