How to put a landfill to work on your orders in Dumpster Controls

The database is not just a directory: the landfill you choose travels with the order, guides the driver, draws the route, and ends up in your profit numbers.

    1. 1

      Suggest it on the pickup

When scheduling a pickup, the operations drawer includes a suggested landfill picker fed by this database, with your favorites and private landfills on top and distances from the job. The driver app pre-selects your suggestion. See the Inventory guide for the full flow.

    2. 2

Set it on the dispatch route

On the Dispatch board's route map, landfill stops start as "Location TBD" until you use "Set landfill" to pick the destination. The choice is saved on the order and the route redraws through it.

    3. 3

Let the driver confirm at the wheel

In the driver app, the landfill stage shows the same database (favorites first, sorted by distance from the truck). The driver can accept the suggestion, switch landfills, and scan the scale receipt at the gate.

    4. 4

      Close the loop in Finances

What you paid at the landfill is recorded as a landfill cost on the order. Completed orders without one are flagged "No landfill cost" in Orders P&L, so the database and your profit tracking stay connected.

    What happens next

    • Rating the landfill after the dump (from the driver app or the landfill card) feeds the community data that helps you pick better next time.

    Troubleshooting

The landfill I need is not in any picker.

Add it with "Suggest Landfill" (in the "Nearby Landfills" window) or "Add new landfill" (inside the pickers). Private landfills are usable on orders immediately.
