Invite office users and drivers, pick the right role for each person, and control who can access your account.
Your team lives in two places. The "Admin Users" page (sidebar item "Admin User") manages office users: the admins, supervisors, and dispatchers who run orders, dispatch, customers, and billing from a computer. The "Drivers" page manages the people who run routes with the Dumpster Controls Driver app on their phone. One person can be both: an office user marked "Also a Driver" appears in both lists.
There are three office roles, each with a fixed permission set: "Admin" ("Full access to office tools."), "Supervisor" ("Can manage dispatch and drivers, limited settings."), and "Dispatcher" ("Can schedule orders and assign trucks/drivers."). You pick the role when you create the user and can change it later. There is no per-module permission editor; the role is the permission.
Inviting is automatic. When you create an office user or a driver, the platform emails them a branded invite with a "Set Your Password" button, and if a phone number is on file it also texts them the same link. The link expires in 24 hours, and you can resend it any time. Driver invites additionally point to the App Store and Google Play so the driver lands in the mobile app ready to work.
Safety rules protect your account: you cannot delete yourself, the company owner cannot be deleted, and "An admin can only delete users they created. The original creator admin (or Enterprise Owner) cannot be deleted by other admins." Removing a user takes away their access immediately.
Admin Users are office team members who work in the web dashboard: "They are usually dispatchers, supervisors, or admins (not drivers)." Drivers are field workers who use the Dumpster Controls Driver app on their phone to run deliveries, pickups, and landfill trips. If the same person does both, create them as an Admin User and turn on "Also a Driver": they will appear in the Drivers list and can be assigned to routes.
Adding, editing, and removing office users requires the Admin role; other roles get an "Access denied" error. Creating drivers requires an Admin or Supervisor. If you do not see the option working, ask an admin on your account.
An email from your company name with a "Set Your Password" button, plus a text message with the same link when a phone number is on file. Office invites explain how to log in at dumpstercontrols.io; driver invites also include "Get the driver app" buttons for the App Store and Google Play. The link expires in 24 hours, and you can resend it from the "Admin Users" or "Drivers" page.
Three protections exist: you cannot delete yourself (the menu shows "You cannot delete yourself."), the company owner cannot be deleted, and per the permission rule shown in the Team tab, "An admin can only delete users they created. The original creator admin (or Enterprise Owner) cannot be deleted by other admins."
The person keeps their office role and also gains driver access: they appear in the Drivers list, can be assigned tasks on the Dispatch board, and can optionally have a license number and expiration on file. The user detail notes "This user also appears in the Drivers list and can be assigned to routes." Turning the switch off removes them from the Drivers list.
In the Account Center's "Team and Permissions" tab, a green dot with "Online now" appears on team members who have used the app within the last few minutes. The Admin Users detail view also shows "Last Login" under "Activity".
